via Nyngan, Bourke, Louth, Tilpa, White Cliffs, Menindee Lakes, Broken Hill.  Travel down the mighty Darling River from Bourke to Wilcannia & Bourke & Wills camp at Menindee Lakes then Broken Hill, with a visit to White Cliffs opals fields & miners stores. Join this small group 4WD tour from Sydney (or reverse from Broken Hill or Adelaide to Sydney) via the Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Dubbo (the Hub of the West), Narromine (soaring capital of Aust.) and Nyngan (1990 flood town) to overnight in Bourke (with paddle boat cruise).

Next day enjoy Gundabooka National Park (scenic walks & Aboriginal rock art), and travel the banks of Australia’s longest, the Darling River to Wilcannia and White Cliffs opal fields, then on to Menindee Lakes wetlands birds areas Broken Hill. Return by train or plane, or continue to Lake Eyre or Cameron Corner Country & Tibooburra.  From Sydney to Broken Hill or Adelaide options.
