Option 3 – INNAMINCKA AND BIRDSVILLE DAY FLIGHT AND 2 LANDINGS

Depart William Creek for a scenic flight over Lake Eyre North including Silcrete Island and Jackboot Bay as you track towards the Cooper Creek Inlet. Enjoy views over the Cooper Creek and Birdsville track crossing and Lake Hope before landing at Innamincka. A short walk (approx 500m unless a pick up is available) to the Innamincka Hotel for a morning tea and some free time.

Return to the skies for Birdsville flying overhead Coongie Lakes, the top of Goyder Lagoon and Diamantina. Enjoy a pub lunch at the Birdsville Hotel before boarding for the return flight to William Creek. The return flight includes Big Red, Eyre Creek, Goyder Lagoon, Cliffton Hills, Simpson Desert, Kallakoopah Creek, Warburton inlet and groove and Dalhunty Island.  Includes a one hour lunch stopover at Birdsville (own expense), full commentary via headsets worn by all guests and superb window views.
