Join us and Kevin Kelly, renowned drumming workshop leader around
the campfire on a beautiful 20 acre property on
the spectacular Sugarloaf Mountain Range at
Brunkerville (near Freemans Waterhole) Lower Hunter Valley. Enjoy a fun
filled afternoon, relax, unwind and meet new friends, learning &
embracing the rhythms of the drum and the earth in this powerful
natural environment. Kevin teaches with an emphasis on interactive
drumming and bringing the fun into the learning through his Irish
humour and culture. Djembe drums also welcome for learning new rhythms.

Make a weekend of it – Stay in
the Hunter Valley (wineries only 35 mins away) on Saturday night and
enjoy the
Hunter Valley vineyards and scenery, or bring a bottle of wine and nibbles and enjoy
the warm fire and new friends after the drumming event on Sunday
afternoon
or simply have a hot cuppa on
us, whilst viewing the sunset on the magnificent
Mt Vincent
adjacent to the property.

 

This beautiful
property is surrounded by National Parks and State Forests is approx 30
mins from Central Coast, 30 mins from Newcastle and 1hr 40 mins from
Sydney. Awaba rail station is 10 mins away.

About
Kevin Kelly

Kevin
has successfully facilitated corporate team building and motivation
seminars, at great outdoor locations both in the UK,
Ireland and Australia.
He is a respected rhythm teacher at NIDA. Kevin is frequently a
celebrity at Weddings and Corporate Dinners. He creates a fun
environment teaching the drum and rhythm to his audience. Kevin makes
sleepy seminars a thing of the past! He also plays gigs with his Irish
band at regular venues in Sydney.
Kevin is founder and director of “Bodhran World”, author of
“Live Life on the Edge” the audio CD that introduces the art of Bodhran
percussion, and a DVD filmed on location in Ireland
“Round Ireland in 32 beats”. The Guinness Book of Records
recognises Kevin as creating the largest gathering of Bodhran Drummers
in the World.

Includes:
Professional tuition, FREE drum to use on the day (or purchase your own
from Kevin) campfire, refreshments on arrival, BBQ lunch &
afternoon tea. BYO after 5 refreshments and nibbles for campfire
(tea/coffee provided). BYO drum if preferred. If it is raining all will
be in the homestead around the cosy fireplace.
