Departure of 4WD vehicles heading due west from Alice Springs then Gary Junction Road (Kiwirrkurra Road) 2 Nights camping, visiting Haasts Bluff, Papunya, Kintore, Mt Leibig, Kiwirrkurra, Kunawarritji, Punmu communities, Sandy Blight Junction, Gary Junction, various Len Beadell markers and monuments. Overnight at Kunawarritji Aboriginal Community (motel room) at Well 33 on the Canning Stock Route, then salt lakes, past  the enormous Telfer gold mine to spectacular glacier polished rocks at Carawine Gorge to Marble Bar (cabin overnight), then via Gina Rinehart’s Roy Hill Iron Ore Mine for overnight in Newman.
