Myself and 3 other individuals have just completed a 10 day Simpson Desert tour, Adelaide to Adelaide with tour guide Adrian. What a fabulous adventure it was. The landscape, the experiences with fellow travellers all made possible by Adrian. His knowledge of the area is amazing be it through history and geography and he knew how to choose other routes to navigate still impassable tracks. He drives the Landcruiser safely maximising comfort to passengers and vehicle endurance. We enjoyed his meals he had prepared around the campfire at night. Every morning tea and lunch found us under a shady tree. Everyone got on fabulously. Humour all the way. We camped in some truly beautiful locations. Thankyou Adrian. Thankyou Spirit Safaris.

Very poor and unprofessional communication prior to tour . The tour itself, once underway, was very good.

Fantastic 3 day trip. Adrian gave us educational and entertaining commentary. He made sure we had plenty of photo and comfort stops. He knew of great little side excursions to get date ice cream, see birds and get as close to Lake Eyre as possible. He also shared photos with us on the evening he dropped us off. Definitely recommend.

We all enjoyed our trip from Darwin to Adelaide July 2026. The landscape was all we had expected from semi arid interior regions to the vineyards in the South Our driver/guides were informative and very helpful. The accomodation and meals were better than we had expected of the outback Would recommend the Spirit Safari team John and Kirsty NZ

KARIJINI PILBARA Thanks Richard so very much for a great trip. Everything was well done and ran smoothly. Seeing Karijini, being immersed in the energy and walking in the gorges has been a long held dream for me and i wasnt disappointed. Seeing the iron ore process from Tom Price thru to Port Hedland was most enlightening as was Woodside's gas infrastructure at Dampier. 80Mile beach was spectacular. As was time spent in Millstream Chichester NP It was so nice to sit bck and take in the scenery with all the driving u did. Thank u again.

I have just completed the Pilbara Karijini tour with Richard from Spirit Safaris and I was very impressed. The accommodation in every stop was comfortable and well appointed, the breakfasts and dinners were superb, and Richard made sure to take everyone's needs into account with our picnic lunches. I am gluten and lactose intolerant, so I presented a bit of a challenge, but he handled it well. I did enjoy our micro group of three and travelling in a car, which I think is far better than a bus. Richard himself is knowledgeable about the places we visited, and he's relaxed with a great sense of humour, which injected some fun into the more lengthy drives. I have no hesitation in recommending Spirit Safaris and their Pilbara Tour. As a West Aussie from down south it was everything I hoped and expected to see...and more!!

We've just come back from a wonderful trip to the Pilbara. There were only three of us plus our tour guide Richard. I really enjoyed the experience of 4WD travelling in such a small group - much preferable to a bus, especially considering the long distances involved - and we all got on well together. The accommodation and the food were excellent, as was Richard's local knowledge. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Thank you Richard and Lynn for a great trip Cairns to Darwin. It's been on my bucket list for a while. It's so Lovely to do a road trip with a very small group of likeminded travellers. Thank you Lynn for your lovely lunches, your great sense of humour and for stopping repeatedly so I could take photos of the Brolgas. It absolutely made the trip to be able stop every now and then to take it all in. Loved Lawn Hill NP, Cobbold Gorge and the stunningly beautiful Lost City, I'm so glad I did the trip . Kind regards Lorraine
