Celebrating 52nd Anniversary of Mowanjum Community

and New Wandjina Art Centre

Wed July 9th and Thurs July 10th  2008 *

This years Festival will celebrate 52nd Anniversary of the community which will be cause for great celebration.

Mowanjum festival will showcase the musical talent of the region and an opportunity to experience the magnificent corroborees of the Ngarinyin, Wororra and Wanumbul people!

The festival will also feature an international act showcasing indigenous culture from another country.

The gates will open at 4:30pm the cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for pensioners and children for each night of the festival.

Mowanjum Community invites you to view its Art and Culture. 

Day 1 - Family evening with art displays and contemporary music

Day 2 - Traditional cultural evening featuring art displays and corroboree dancers.

Held at the Mowanjum Aboriginal Community 12kms from Derby along the Gibb River Road.  Entrance Fee applies
