Your Vitality and experience is enhanced by our supply of fresh and healthy vital foods. We cater and purchase foods for your journey based on your choices as indicated when booking and in our booking form. On extended journeys (generally meaning beyond 8 days) transporting fresh foods on outback roads can be challenging, and fresh foods can be difficult to obtain.

Morning and afternoon teas are provided and include fruits, muesli bars, biscuits and cakes.

Vegetarians are happily catered for. Generally meals will consist of a variety of -

Breakfast

  • Muesli, cereals and porridge with choice of various milks

  • Toast, jams, honey and spreads

  • Fruit juices and fruit

  • Yoghurts

  • Eggs / Bacon / Sausages / Baked Beans

 Lunch

  • Generally salads including Ham, Salami, Tuna, Salmon

  • Salads - lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, beetroot, beans, pineapple, hommus, cheeses,

  • Breads and spreads

 Dinner

  • Camp oven roasts – Chicken, Lamb, Beef and roast vegetables

  • A chance to try traditional Indigenous "bush tucker" on certain trips when available - including barramundi, freshwater bream, kangaroo, emu, bush turkey, snake, goanna, turtle, and local vegetables.

  • Soups including minestrone, pumpkin, vegetable and pea & ham

  • Vegetable Stir Fry with tofu / Casseroles / Stews

  • Various Pasta Dishes

  • BBQ Steak / Sausage / Chicken / Fish

  • Damper

 Desert

  • Cheese & biscuits

  • Custards, fruit, rice puddings, cake, biscuits

  • Various coffee & teas, hot chocolate

Drinks

  • Various coffees, teas, milo.  Juices, cordials and water are provided. Alcohol is prohibited in some Aboriginal communities, but generally available in towns we visit. Please ask if this is important to you.
