Wide-angle Walk - Sunday 11
April
For Beginners & Experiences Photographers - Tune Up Your Skills,
With Russell Tunny, Hans Mynhart & Richard O'Neill. Be there or
miss out on some great stories, fun, skills sharing and super
shots.
Depart from out front of
The Boathouse Cafe, Palm Beach, at
2:30, for 40 minute walk to Barrenjoey lighthouse in Kuringai Chase
NP. Great photo opportunities of the lighthouse and surrounding
historical buildings, native vegetation, beaches, headlands,
sandstone caves, Lion Island, West Head & then as the magic hour
approaches, Pittwater, Broken Bay & Hawkesbury River with the magic
of sunset tones. Returning to beach for sunset at 5:38pm (17:38).
Early birders meet for coffee at 2pm or have a swim or picnic at
Palm Beach.
By car - park at
cafe with council meter ticket or outside Governor Phillip park and
walk 5 mins to cafe. By Bus from City - depart Central / Railway
Square or Wynyard Grosvenor Place take the L90 bus
to Palm Beach and alight at Governor Phillip Park, Palm Beach
(Summer Bay). Wear sturdy walking
shoes & hat.
First timers
introductory price $25 includes tuition, sunset snacks & social,
laptop for sharing results.
